My Confession...well sort of

It was a beautiful Saturday morning. Not a cloud in the sky. Birds were chirping and bees were buzzing. Jae was in the kitchen fixing breakfast when a buzz on his phone caught his attention. He quickly flipped the pancakes before wiping his hands to grab the phone.

"Hello," he answered in rush. The person on the other end chuckled before saying anything.

"Hey, I just wanted to let you know that they approved your request."

Jae smiled as he lifted the spatula in the air. "Thanks, hyung you're a life saver."

The other guy on the other end laughed before ending the call. Jae still happy from the news forgot about his pancakes and now they were burning. He slouched down being upset but he didn't allow this to ruin his happiness.

He quickly made a new batch and this time making sure he watched it. Moments later he finished eating and washed up all of the dirty dishes before heading up to his room.

He went inside his closet and started rummaging through all of his clothes until he found the best outfit for today. He took it out and smiled. Presenting the outfit up to himself. "Perfect," he said with a toothy smile.

He quickly turned on the shower so that it could heat. He headed to the sunk and did his daily hygiene before stepping into the shower. A scream burst out from his lungs as he screamed due to that the water was not hot but freezing cold.

He shook his head as he touched the knob for the hot water only to realizes that his clumsy self only turns on the cold water. He laughed to himself as he turned the correct knob.

Thirty minutes later he was out of the shower. He had one towel wrapped around his waist and another one in his hand as he dried his hair. He walked towards the bed to see his cat was sitting on the clothes he was supposed to wear.

"Ya!" he yelled. His cat turned to him and then back facing out to look at the window. He marched over and realized that he had a shirt on the floor which caused him to trip and land on his chin.

The cat jumped from his owner's action. Jae got up and rubbed his chin smearing blood all over. "Ugh," he cried. His cat stealthily walked over to his master, sniffing him before leaping down and leaving the room.

Jae rolled his eyes as he slowly got up. "You could have at least been a little concerned," he mumbled out. He got up and grabbed the shirt seeing cat hair. He groans out loud shaking the shirt only to make matters worse.

Was anything going his way today? He sighs as he dropped on the bed. He rolled his head to the side seeing that it was now 12 pm.

His eyes lifted as he knew he didn't have much time. He got up and rushed back to the bathroom and pulled out his first aid kit. He quickly applied the applicator onto the cut under his chin. He then placed a band-aid under his chin. He looked at himself in the mirror and frown.

His once perfect day was now slowly disappearing. He turned on his heels and headed back to his closet hoping that he had something better to wear. After another fifteen he found something but it wasn't as perfect as the first outfit. He groans out being disappointed but went ahead and accepted the new assemble.

He quickly got dress and rushed down the stairs almost tripping over his cat. "Ya, are you out to get me?!"

The cat looked at him before turning back around to go to sleep. "Well...don't think I'm going to give you any treats."

Again the cat didn't care and went back to sleep.

Jae shook his head before heading to the front down. He checked everything that he needed, his phone, his guitar, and keys. He nodded before turning the knob to his apartment.

He walked down to the hallway of his apartment whistling away as he approached the elevator. He pushed the button waiting patiently for the doors to open.

Just then the doors of the elevator open up and all Jae saw was boxes in front of him. He tried to squeeze through but every each of the doors was blocked with boxes. He sighed deeply as he scratched his head trying to figure out what he could do. Just then a voice flowed out from the elevator. "Is someone there?"

"I'm here," Jae answered. In which now he doubted doing.

"Oh great, could you help me move these boxes? The person who was supposed to help me hasn't arrived and I need some assistant with getting them to my apartment."

Jae rubbed his neck, seriously now doubting answering the voice that called out. "Yes, I can help," Jae said.

Finally, after minutes of helping, Jae was finally able to get away when the person he was helping friend showed up. He bowed deeply before rushing out and heading to his destination.

He stepped up to the cafe and looked inside. He smiled as he saw the person he was looking for. He confidentiality walked to the door and just as he did he was hit smack in the head. He grabbed his head as he rubbed the air. The person on the other end came over and asked him if he was alright. Jae hissed out in pain as he continued to rub.

He nodded his head as more and more customers came out to see what had happened. One of the people there actually worked in the cafe.

She pushed through the crowd and kneeled overlooking worried towards Jae. She placed a warm hand on his shoulder as he slowly looked her. "Jae, are you - what happened to your chin?"

Jae nervously laughed,"shaving accident." She snorted as she started to laugh at his answered. She put out a hand to helped him from the ground. Jae took the hand of the female that he came to see. She was wearing her uniform and had her hair pulled in a low ponytail. Her bronze skins glistening as it radiates from the sunbeams.

"You're still the same Jae, clumsy as ever." Jae got up wiping away the dust off from his behind as he turned to pick up the other thing that he brought. She turned to where he was and noticed that had brought his guitar. "Why did you bring this?" She inquired.

He grabbed the case and grabbed the female's hand. They walked into the café. The female was confused by walked until Jae approached the stand. He got up on the stand and took out his guitar from the case.

He got up on the stool as now all eyes were on him. He tuned his guitar as he cleared his throat. He touched the mic hearing the feedback. The female stood watching him with her arms folded over her chest.

"Hello, my name is Park Jaehyung, some of you may know me as one of the members of Day6. Well, I just wanted to confess how I feel towards someone and that person is standing right there. I have always cared about her and honestly, I don't know how she feels about me but the I feel the best way to express my feelings is with a song. Uh..so here I go."

He turned his eyes to the female who now had her hand covering her mouth. He smiled as he hit the first chord on his guitar.

Five minutes later, Jae hit the last cord and stopped playing turning his attention to the person he was playing for. It made every eye in the room stare at her and wait for her to say something.

Jae got up from the stool and got down from the stage. He stepped to her and stood in front of her. He ran his hands through his hair. "So...?"

She looked at him and started to smile. "What took you so long?" She asked.

Just as Jae was about to answer, she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him causing the whole café to cheer. She pulled away as confetti and balloons fell down above them.

"You had this planned?" She questioned.

Jae nodded answering her question. "I was going to wear the shirt that you like but my cat had other plans for it."

She looked down at the shirt and laughed. She hit him on the shoulder. "Silly this was the shirt that I first saw you in."

Jae glanced down staring at the shirt that he had on. He could have sworn it was the other one. She lifted up his chin as he winced in pain. "Sorry," she apologizes.

Jae just smiled even though all of the incidents that happen today. A positive thing happened. His best friend was now his girlfriend and he would care for her until the end.
