FORGIVE ME CH. 13 (PT 2)

Hanbin sat still listening to Kira's history. It was a lot to take in but he knew that she wasn't done. Kira had gotten up from the couch and walked to the bathroom. She was looking at herself in the mirror. What stared back at her was a monster. Her violet eyes were not as vibrant as they were normally are. She wasn't sure why but for once she was glad. She went to turn the water on when the bracelet dangled down on her wrist.
She brought it up to her eyes to look at it clearly. The dragon was wrapped around itself as each stone shined brightly on its body. She noticed one of the stones looked dull. It wasn't shining like the other ones. Kira wasn't sure why it wasn't. She leaned her head back down and splashed water on her face.
She turned to wipe her face with the towel that Hanbin allowed her to use.
She then heard a knock on the door. "Are you okay?"
Kira let out a yell before opening the door revealing Hanbin standing there with a small smile on his face.
"Tablo is up. I talked to him and he seems a lot more stable, I think."
Kira pushed passed Hanbin and walked out of the room to the living room. No longer laying on the floor was Tablo who was sitting on the couch. He was flipping on his phone when he saw both Kira and Hanbin walking in his directions. He flipped his phone in the air barely catching it before it hit the floor. Kira sits next to him and Tablo moved away from her.
Kira turned to Hanbin who was standing watching the fiasco. "You call this fine?"
Hanbin walked over and sat in the chair across from the both of them. "I did say, I think. Nobody's perfect."
Kira placed her hands in her lap and Tablo jumped from the movement
Kira placed her hands in her lap and Tablo jumped from the movement. Hanbin burst out laughing and Kira rolled her eyes. Hanbin finally composing himself lean forward in the chair. "Can you finish your story?"
Kira moved her eyes to Hanbin and then towards Tablo. Tablo moved his hands up like he was ready to fight. Kira stared into his eyes and flashed him.
Her violet eyes startled him and he calmed down like a scared puppy. Hanbin looked on not knowing what the fuck just happened.
"My mother just has given birth to the next leader of the Dragons clan. Every inch of the child was a photo image of herself and every generation that came before her. She didn't want her daughter to fall down the same path like had happened to her. She raised her to care, to love and to treasure every moment. She saw a brighter future in her daughter. But this didn't last long. The child was bullied for being different. Like everyone who had brown, green or blue eyes, she had violet eyes. When she got cut, some would just apply a band-aid on the area where the child healed instantly. So the other kids would do horrible things to that child."
"Kids can be so cruel," mumbled Tablo.
He was now sitting a lot more comfortable on the sofa. Maybe this story hit close to home, Hanbin wondering.
"My mother couldn't deal with it anymore and move to a lot safer place where no one could hurt her child
"My mother couldn't deal with it anymore and move to a lot safer place where no one could hurt her child. The new place was a lot better but like any other place, it had its bad areas. The child was on her way home from school and she was attacked. The child fought with everything that was in her. She was able to fight the man but there came a price. She ran home after the incident were her mother and father saw what she was covered with."
BLOOD
"-but it wasn't her blood as they were scrubbing it away. It was the other person blood. Her mother fell back and covered her mouth as she cried. She couldn't believe it. My father tried to comfort her but she pushed him away. He knew that this wasn't good. He quickly cleaned the child and dressed her for bed. The child, of course, did not go straight to bed. She could hear her parents arguing. ""He's going to find her, I just know it!!"" ""We're going to be fine. We can leave tomorrow"" ""How long can we keep running?! She not normal, we're not normal!!"" The conversation kept going back and forth until they went to sleep. The next day, the child noticed bags packed but didn't think much of it when she left out for school. When she arrived back home, she noticed the gate to the house was open. She knew that her father hated when someone left the gate open. The child not knowing what could happen walked slowly into the house. She noticed the place was in chaos. All their belongings were tossed here and there. The first person she saw was her mother. She had her throat cut from here to there."
Kira demonstrated how the cut was. "Her father was in the kitchen, it appeared that his death was instant. Since he was eating breakfast before he died. The young girl went to call for help when she was picked up from her neck. She struggled and struggled but the man gripped her neck tighter in his hand. He brought the child closer to his face and he could see everything. He knew that this was his child. He smiled as he glared at the child. He then knocked her out with a blow to the head."
Hanbin and Tablo listen as Kira told the story. She had seen so much in just a short time.
Tablo who was once afraid was now able to be comfortable around Kira. Well, just a little.
"That child grew up to be who she is now. I know I can't go back to that child I once was before but I can try to make a difference in those I kill."
Hanbin and Tablo both confused at what Kira said, "excuse me but how are you making a difference to those you kill?
Kira got up from the couch which caused both Hanbin and Tablo to jump back. She looks out at the now dawning sky before responding.
"I asked them to forgive me."
