BODYGUARD - CH 06
◼◼◼◼
"This is Mr. Kwon's room and yours will be right next to him," his assistant Ms. Song stated, after taking Jessie to her new residence that she'll be staying during her stay in Korea.
Ms. Song had finished the tour with Jessie after Mr. Yang rushed them out from the practice room.
The Bigbang member, Seungri was left stunned on the floor, still groaning in pain and they had to call the medics to check to see if he was okay.
Jessie stood on the side lines, just smirking at the once before bragging man to see him now crying like a baby.
Now, later on, Ms. Song had now opened the door to Jessie's new residence, she could see a full view of the Han River. The condo suite had two bedrooms with two and a half bathroom, a full use of a kitchen. "If you need anything, you can call downstairs for it, other than that you're all set."
Ms. Song turned to Jessie dropping keys into her palm before closing the door behind her.
Jessie closed her hand as she walked towards the balcony window to see the most beautiful view she has ever seen in her life, and this was for her just being a bodyguard.
If they did this for a bodyguard then how much money did the company have to spend on normal things, Jessie thought, closing the dark curtains and heading to one of the bedrooms that were styled in all white from the pillows to the bedspreads.
She made a smug look as she pulled back all the covers and sheets seeing the pure white fabric. To her, this was too much, even if she wasn't paying for it.
She made sure to make a memo to herself to go out later on to find darker bedding but right now all she wanted to do was pass out. But she didn't know how tired she was until she heard the sound of her alarm waking her up 12 hours later.
She rolled over in the bed and hit her phone, noticing that the time read 5 am. This was normally the time that she woke up to go for her morning jog.
She got up from the bed and tied her hair up into a messy ponytail as she headed over to her suitcase. Jessie pulled out a small case that had her all of her toiletries inside.
She swings the small bag behind her back as she heads into the bathroom and did her normal morning routine. Once she was done, she headed back to her case to grab a jogging suit to take a run to keep up her heartbeat.
After grabbing her sneakers and keys that she was given by Ms. Song, Jessie headed out to run her usual 5 miles.
It was a couple of hours later when Jessie arrives back to the apartment complex. She took out her key card and allowed the system to scan her back in the complex. She pushed open the emergency door and jogged her way back up to the top floor until she arrived at the top.
When Jessie arrived at President floor she noticed a woman frantically banging on the door. She took out her buds as she continued scrolling down the hallway.
Jessie notices the woman and bowed down to her before walking up to her room. Before she could retrieve her key card she hears the woman yelling at the door. "Mr. Kwon please open your door! You're going to be late for your schedules!"
Hearing, that the person that she is supposed to be guarding was not answering the call of his assistant, Jessie headed over to find out what was going on.
"What's wrong?" She asked with her hands on her hips.
The young woman turned her head towards Jessie and it appeared that she has been crying for quite some times. Jessie even noticed that her hand that she was using to bang on the door was a dark shade of red. "I've been banging on Mr. Kwon's door for almost an hour, and he's not answering. If I can't get him up on time, I'm going to lose my job," she explained to Jessie.
Jessie eyed the woman, "well don't you have a key card or know his passcode to get into his room?"
The woman pulled out a key card from her back pocket and held it out to Jessie to see. "I've tried using the key card and also the code that they told me but for some strange reason, both of them aren't working."
Jessie shook her head as she pulled out her key card, her's was a master that Ms. Song had explained to her, so even if a certain someone decides to change his code, she'll still have access to get into the room.
"It seems like a certain someone didn't want you to interrupt his sleep, I got this," Jessie offered, going towards the key card slot and placing the card inside to override the new code that inputted into the system.
With a positive response, the door clicked allowing the two woman to slip inside the room. The young woman bowed down to Jessie as she rushed towards the back bedroom to where her employer was located.
Jessie slipped her hands into the pocket of her jacket and wondering around noticing that the suite was decorated the same way that her's was but of course, it had a manly feel to it.
In the distance, she could hear the assistant screaming again and she followed the noise to see Jiyong laying sprawled out on his bed with pillows and blankets covering his head, ignoring the desperate calls from the frantic woman to the side of his bed.
"What time is his first event?" Jessie asked the assistant, motioning forward towards the bedroom. The assistant glances down at her iPad reading the events on the screen.
"It's at 10 am," she answered, almost in tears once again.
Jessie looked down at her watch it was almost 8 am but. She doesn't say anything else but goes the bathroom that was connected to the bedroom.
She sees what she looking for and picks it up dumping all of the things out from inside. She goes to the tub, fills it up with cold water, and then comes out with the item in hand. The assistant notices but is still very confused as to what she was doing.
Jessie then walks out of the room and towards the kitchen. She opens the freezer and sees that the ice maker is filled with enough ice that she needed. Jessie then dumps the entire tray into the bucket filled with water.
By now the assistant had followed her out of Jiyong's bedroom and was watching her trying to figure out what Jessie was doing.
"So how long have you been his assistant?" Jessie questions the woman, leaning on the counter with the item standing in front of her on the floor, settling.
"N-not too long. Maybe less than five months. I just got promoted and so far I probably will get fired for doing an awful job," she stated, slouching from where she stood.
"Well it just seems you need a backbone," Jessie responded to the woman. "But other than that, I don't see you losing your job because of him. "
Her watch beeps and Jessie smiles with a mischievous expression. "Follow me," she says motioning the woman to come back with her. "Oh and by the way what is your name?"
The woman looked up almost bumping into Jessie who paused for a moment to turn back to the woman. "It's...Soyoung...Oh, Soyoung."
Jessie moved the can to the other side of her arm and reached her arm out to shake Soyoung's hands. "I'm Jessie Gomes, nice to meet you." And in return, Soyoung shakes Jessie's hand placing a small smile on her face.
Jessie breaks the hand gesture and turns back around to head back to Jiyong's room.
And none the less, Jiyong was still sleeping in the same position that they left him in when they walked out of the room. Jessie motion for Soyoung to go over to the other side of the bed and she as she was told.
"Okay on the count of three, remove the pillow okay."
Soyoung hesitated for a second looking down at the rise and fall of the blankets moving with every breath that Jiyong made. "I don't think this is a good idea, Jessie. What if I get fired?"
"Just do it," Jessie shot back, rolling her eyes.
Soyoung jumps back hearing the once calm Jessie, now ordering her to pull back the blankets of her boss, so they could splash water on him. But was this worth it, she thought, especially the fact that he changed the code so she couldn't get into the room.
She bit down on her the bottom of her lip as she leans forward to pull back the white duvet that blocked Jessie from pouring the water on her boss. This was so worth it, she thought in the end.
With that access, Jessie pours the ice cold water on top of Jiyong, causing him to shoot up with fright seeing the two females on the both side of his bed. "What...what the fuck are you in my room!" He yelled out.
Jessie tossed the trash can at Soyoung making her fumbled to catch it before she turned on her heels of her sneakers to head out of the bedroom.
"I'll be back in 20 minutes. Be ready." She stated ignoring the question that came out of Jiyong's mouth.
The front door closed behind her and she left the confused Soyoung and drenched Jiyong in his unit alone.
