FORGIVE ME CH. 31

Kira has awoken but something was different about her. Her entire appearance was different. She may look the same to Hanbin and Bobby but she knew something wasn't right. Kira turned to face both guys who were in the same room along with her. Hanbin was still sitting on the floor and Bobby was leaning on the wall.
"W-what happened to me?" She asked.
Both Hanbin and Bobby didn't know what to say. Kira was radiating more and more in front of them. The more that she became confused the larger the glow became.
In all of her life, Kira has never read or heard of anything like this happening. She got up from the bed and ran to the closest mirror she could find. She looked at herself in the mirror, her eyes were two different colors: violet and blue. She had streaks of violet and blue in her hair as well. She grabbed some of it running her fingers through the strands. Kira turned back around looking at the still dumbfounded brothers.
She rushed towards Hanbin who stumbled back when she was right in front of him. She kneels down to meet his eye level. "Did you give me your blood?"
No words came out of Hanbin's mouth. All he could do was nod his head to her question.
"So you know who you are?"
Hanbin nodded his head once more.
"So do you know what you've done?"
Hanbin started to nod his head yes but changed it to a no. "What does that mean? I did use my blood to help you recover since you were dying. What did my blood do you?"
Kira stood up walking backward until she made it to the bed. She shook her head, "I don't know. It helped me heal but it did something more.  I just don't know what."
Kira buried her hands in her head. She thought that she knew everything but this was something totally different. She remembered the fighting and arguments but what happened after that? She got up from the bed and rushed out of the room as she did, she bumped into Bobby on the way out.
Both brothers raced behind her as she took off out of the front door.
"Kira...wait a moment!!"  Hanbin yelled.
But Kira ignored their yelling and ran and kept running until she was in the woods.
Hanbin and Bobby both continued to run behind her until they could not see her anymore. They stopped both leaning on a tree to catch their breath. Hanbin was leaning forward huffing and puffing. He looked up turning from left and right to see if there was any indication on which way Kira ran off too.
Bobby also did the same and still, neither brothers could find Kira.
"I didn't know she was that fast," Bobby said, patting.
He was using the back of hands to wipe off the sweat that was on his forehead. Finally catching his breath, Hanbin wanted to know what made Kira get up and leave like that. He wanted to look for her more but it was too dark and he wasn't too sure what lurked in the woods at night.
"Let's hope she comes back," he said.
Bobby nodded his head as they walked back to the house.
Kira, on the other hand, was still running like her life depended on it. She knew that she needed to stay and protect the brothers but she needed answers. She needed to now what was happening to her.
Once she had finally made it to her destination, Kira open the gates to the house and banged on the door. She kept banging until the door opens up and there appeared the old man from before. He smiled as he motioned her to come inside. Kira stepped inside the house and the man closed the door behind her. He pointed for her to follow him as they walked to the living room.
Kira sat down but got back up. She was just too anxious to sit down. At that moment, the old woman walked in from the kitchen with a tray. She smiled and placed a tray with a tea set on the coffee table and sat down next to Kira.
She stared long and hard at the young woman before moving her frail fingers up to Kira's head. Kira jumped from the touch but then allowed the woman to touch her. The woman grabbed her glasses and placed them on her face to see a lot clearer. Kira sat impatiently tapping her fingers on her thigh. She was always taught to be polite to her elders but this was too much.
She turned to face the woman who was next to her. "I came here to find out what is going on with me and you're just touching me. Why?"
The woman smiled and removed her glasses from off of her face. "My, my-my, you're just like your mother. She was very impatient when she stayed at our village but that was for other reasons."
Kira placed her head down as she tried to hold back tears when hearing about her mother.
"But there is something special about you." Kira lifted her head up and turned to the woman.
"What do you mean "special" about me?" Upon hearing what Kira was asking the old man walked out of the back of the house with a large book in hand. He placed the book down sliding the tray that had the cups of tea. He opened the book and turned a page and placed his hand on a paragraph for Kira to read. Kira leaned forward and read the paragraph before looking back and forth to both people.
"Are you serious?" She asked out.
This time Kira could not fight the tears that were falling down her face.
The woman nodded her as she placed both of her hands on Kira's face.
"You, my dear are the one."
