THE BODYGUARD CH. 02

Missy came rushing into the precinct with all of the orders that the other agents had ordered her to do.
She was out of breath due to running five blocks to get back before the coffees became cold.
She placed them all on the table that was in front of her. She removed each and every one of the cups out of the holders.
Once they all were on the table, she placed her hands on her hip she felt proud of herself.
She hopes that this would make a good impression on the rest of the agents that were in her precinct.
Moments later, all that was in the conference room came out talking.
Missy looked up to see the other agents looking at her and mumbling to themselves.
She cocked her hand to the side being confused about why they were looking at her.
They noticed the coffees that she had placed out sitting on the table and moved towards them to pick them up. Each person grabbed their cup that had their name on it and heading to their desk.
All looked at her but never thanked her for getting them.
The last guy, Hyunwoo grabbed the cup that had his name and nodded his head to Missy before walking over to his desk. He took a sip out of the cup before turning back to look at Missy.
"The boss wants to see you," he said to Missy.
Missy who was now feeling exhausted looked at him. She pointed to herself. "Me. Why does he want to see me?" She asked him.
Hyunwoo shrugged his shoulders. "Don't know," he said even though he knew the reasons.
Missy walked over to the boss' door. She straightens her hair and her outfit before knocking on the door.
"Yes." He said.
"Umm. It's Agent Greene," Missy nervously said. It was a long quiet before Missy heard the voice of her boss call her into his office.
She grabbed the knob and turned it to push herself into the room. Missy walked inside closing the door behind her. "You wanted to see me, sir." She said trying to sound confident but in the end, stuttered out her words.
He was looking down at some of the papers that he had on his desk never looking up. Missy placed her hands behind her back and started to fiddle with them.
Her eyes wandering around the room trying to focus on anything other than the person in front of her. Missy then heard a draw open and close which put her attention back on her commander.
"Let's see you have been in this department for......" The commander was looking at Missy's profile, "....two years and you are still running errands for the senior agents. Even the ones that came in along with you are not doing tasks for their seniors." He took off his glasses and rubbed his eyes. "So why are you doing them?" he asked her.
Missy placed her head down when he asked her that question. She couldn't figure out the reason why. "sir, I don't-."
A slam to the desk stopped Missy from answering that question. "I tell you the reason why the fuck you are still running errands. You can't say fucking no." He was known to yell at the top of his lungs. Missy hearing out that was said was to the point of tears. She now had her hands in front of her.
"You are making a fucking joke out of this precinct." He stated to her. He flung a folder in front of her. "This will be your first task." As he slowly tried to calm his voice down. Missy walked towards his desk picking up the folder and looking through the information that was inside.
"I-I-I have to go back to school?" She questioned him. She looked at the man that was in front of her. He has his hands folded under his chin. A smile slowly started to form on his face. He nodded his head to her question.
"But why?"
"Your job is to protect that boy on the paper. It's been reported that lately, his family is worth lots of money and their rivals want to take them out. So your job is to protect their heir." He explained to her.
Missy looked down at the information that was in front of her. "Sir, I don't think I can do this."
Missy bossed looked her in a confused way. "And why not?"
Missy tried to think of a good reason why she could not do the job, "I'm not experienced enough and plus...I hate high school." She mumbled the last part to her boss.
"You hate what?" He knew what she had said but wanted to hear it again.
"I hate high school, sir," she said again but still in a low tone.
"Well...you don't have any other choice." Her bossed yelled out to her.
