A soft rap at the classroom door followed behind the classroom door opening caused Ms. Kwon to glance up from her grading the students of her class reports to see one of her students standing by the door with her hands in front in a manner way.
The young female had her lips pursed in a straight line and was very hesitant to step further into the room.
Ms. Kwon knew that this was out of the ordinary since the young woman as she knew as Suri was never like this, so what made her so worried that she couldn't speak with her?
Ms. Kwon placed a smile on her face as she stopped grading her student's work and waved the young woman into her classroom.
"What can't help you with, Suri?" She asked turning her body in the chair to have the young woman's undivided attention.
Suri bit the side of her lip as she gradually made her way to Ms. Kwon but before going further, she closed the door to the classroom so that the conversation would be kept private.
Ms. Kwon waited patiently until Suri was now in front of her. "Is there something that you want to speak with me about, Suri?"
Suri didn't say anything but pull her backpack from behind her back and went into the small compartment in front as she retrieves out a white piece of paper and lays it on Ms. Kwon's desk.
Curious as to what the paper is, Ms. Kwon, picked up the paper and unfolds the paper to see that it was a permission slip for their senior field trip in the next couple of weeks.
"Didn't you turn in your permission slip in already?" She quirked an eyebrow to Suri.
Suri nodded her head.
Now, Ms. Kwon was wondering what this about and why was Suri turning in a permission slip if she has already turned her's in?
So, Ms. Kwon unfolded the paper some more to see who name is on the slip.
When she noticed the name, her eyes widen as she looked over Suri.
"Suri-," Ms. Kwon was about to say before she was cut off by Suri.
"I know what you're about to say but you know we can't go without him, he's the president."
"But Suri-," Ms. Kwon sighed out but once more was cut off by Suri butting in to add more to her statement.
"Please, Aunty Bo-ah, I've already talked with my mom and dad, and they agreed that it's okay for their names to be added as his custodian."
"And how were you able to do that?" Bo-ah wondered even though she probably already knew the answer.
"I told them the same thing that I'm telling you," Suri smirked. "I'd explained to them Minho has to go to on the field trip with us. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity before we say goodbye. He wasn't going to tell us that he won't be able to go since his parents are always out of town and he spends most of the time at our house. So please just accept it, auntie. "
Bo-ah sighed as she removed her glasses from off of her face and rubs her forehead. "And what if he asks how was he able to go?"
"Just say that you were able to get in touch with his grandparents or long distance relatives, it doesn't matter who. Just say that they give you the okay for him to go. So what do you say, are you going to accept it? Please say that you will," Suri begged.
Ms. Kwon looked up at her niece as she placed her hands together begging for her to accept the permission slip.
Again, Bo-ah sighed out in defeat as she turns her chair to face one of her filings drawers to pull a large folder out to put on her desk. She opened it up and placed the signed form of Choi Minho's inside before closing the folder and putting it back into her drawer.
Seeing the slip go into the folder, Suri let out a loud squeal as she went to hug her aunt. "Thank you, thank you, Auntie Bo-ah, I know I can count on you."
Bo-ah patted her niece's back before Suri pulling out from the hug, still smiling from ear to ear. "I'll speak with Minho tomorrow to let him know that we're going to allow him to go," Bo-ah informed.
"And if he asked who signed it?" Suri wondered as she arched back and forth on the heel of her shoes.
"I'll tell him that we got in touch with a family member about it, don't worry. Now hurry up and head home, I don't want your parents to worry about you?"
Suri nodded her head but before leaving the classroom room, she hugs her aunt one more time before skipping out to leave the room altogether.
She waved to her aunt as she opened the door to step through it but as she does, on the corner of her eye she noticed two dark figured just standing; staring at her with a smirk appearing on their faces.
An eerily feeling runs through Suri that caused the hair on the back of her neck to stand at attention to know that they were watching her and only her.
But as soon as Suri officially closed the door she quickly turned her head completely to where the two figures were standing and to her surprise, they were gone; which was weird.
And why is that weird, you may ask?
Bo-Ah, Suri's aunt's classroom is the last classroom at the end of the hall so there wasn't any way you could go but back down the same way that Suri would have to leave to head out.
So, how did the two figures get past Suri without her noticing?
