In due time, Jongin had finished the release forms and Nadia signed them all before Jongin got up from his chair and grabbed a set of keys from the cabinet behind him.
He turned back to Nadia who was also getting up as they headed over to the cell.
With seeing his friend coming to get him out now, the young man hopped up from his seat and instantly was in front of the door, ready to be let out.
The excitement was a lot for Jongin even if he has seen it before. It just amazes him how much this young man had so much energy where he was ready to call it a day. He puts the cell key into the door and turned it to the left to unlock the door.
The click announced that the doors were open and Jongin pulled the bar away allowing the young man to walk out free.
"You're free, Baekhyun but remember what I told you," Jongin started to say.
Baekhyun turned to him with an innocent look on his face while cocking his head to the side. "What should I remember?" He asked.
Jongin stared at Nadia who placed a hand on Baekhyun's back. "I'll explain it to you Baekhyun, okay."
Baekhyun turned to Nadia as he bobbed his head up and down. "Sorry, Jongin, even if you explain what he did was wrong and shouldn't do it again, he won't understand. But thanks again."
Jongin rubbed the back of his neck as he watched Nadia grab Baekhyun's hand and he skipped out along out the building to her vehicle.
"I don't understand what she sees in him," Jongin heard Krystal say behind his back while he closed the jail door. "He has a couple of screws loose and treats him like a child where you can tell he's a grown man."
Jongin slammed the door shut and like it back in place. He ignored Krystal's rude comments as he placed the keys back in the cabinet and headed back to do his paperwork leaving Krystal standing dumbfounded by herself as the men in the jail cell started to gawk at her.
Meanwhile, Nadia while holding Baekhyun's hand walked down to her car so they can head home.
Nadia unlocks her car and walks over to the passenger side and opens the door for Baekhyun.
With pep in his step, Baekhyun hopped inside the car, cheeky smiling as he turned his direction to Nadia who still was outside waiting for him to do the next step. "Do you remember how to put your seatbelt on?"
Up and down, Baekhyun shook his head, remembering how to put on his seatbelt.
He twisted his body grabbing the straps of his seatbelt as he pulled it over his body.
But there was a small problem, Baekhyun forgot the next step after the strap of the seatbelt was over his upper body. He started to pout as he slowly turned to Nadia realizing that he didn't remember what to do next.
His happy go lucky self now was sad. "I forgot the next step, Nadia," Baekhyun on the verge of tears said.
Nadia placed a small smile on her face. "It's right, Hyunnie, I'll help you."
Nadia reaches over and pulls the strap of the seat belt over Baekhyun's body. "Now, watch how I do it so the next time you will know how."
Nadia heard a low sniff come out of Baekhyun's nose as he nodded his head that he understood. His eyes followed her movement as she leaned into the car and drew the belt over his body once more before the click of the seatbelt being secured was in place.
As Nadia started to pull her body out from the car, she heard Baekhyun speak in a muffled voice just enough for her to only heard. Even though they were the only two in the car at the moment. "I'm sorry, Nadia."
Nadia turned to Baekhyun as her face soften. "I know, Baekhyun. I know."
