About two hours went by after Nana had provided the information to Kay in regards to picking up her brother.
But unfortunately, Kay never checked her phone and when she got bored playing the racecar game on her iPad, she placed the now drained Pad down on the glass coffee table, laid her tired body down and fell asleep hearing the noise from the television.
However, currently, at Incheon International Airport, an 18-year-old male had just exit off from his plane and was heading out from his terminal towards the baggage claim area. He reached inside his jacket and pulled out his phone, turning it back on after having it off while on his flight into Korea from the States.
The screen warmed up and the home page lit up notifying him that he had a new message on his phone. He tapped the screen and saw that it was a message from his sister.
The message read:
I'm sorry that I am not able to pick you up from the airport but Kay is supposed to be there. If she is not there in an hour, here is my address to our place.
- N
The young man scoffed being disgusted while rolling his eyes as he slipped his phone back into his jacket. He surveyed the area, to see if he saw anyone that he recognized but of course he did not.
He grabbed his suitcase from the conveyor belt in baggage claims and headed out from the airport, thinking that maybe Kay would be out there waiting for him.
He walked out and looked around not seeing her out there either. He pulled out his phone again checking the time.
It had read 3:00 PM. By now his sister was probably halfway to Paris and of course, she wouldn't be able to talk to him once she arrived.
Knowing that he had no other choice, he grabbed his bags and headed over to where there was a rows of taxi cabs waiting for people that needed them.
He was greeted by a cab driver. "Hello, do you need a ride?" The cab driver asked, speaking through the window of his vehicle.
The young man bowed his head before speaking back to the driver. "Uh, yes..please..can you take me to this address?" He asked, showing the cab driver the address on the screen of his phone.
The cab driver looked at the address as he placed the suitcase into the trunk of his cab. "Sure, it's a 55 minutes drive and the amount of the fare will show once we get there," he stated to the young man.
"Uh, that's fine."
He got into the cab as the driver placed the vehicle in drive to pull out of from the airport.
The young man glanced out of the window of the cab and looked at the place that he once lived a very long time. It had changed a lot.
He sighed out with disappointed feeling a little bit upset that he wasn't able to see his sister before she left but he understood.
Pretty soon, he drifted off to sleep due to the long plane ride.
An hour later, the cab driver had announced that they had arrived at his destination. The young man reached into his jacket and pulled out his wallet retrieving a credit card out and handed it over to the driver.
The cab driver took the card and swiped it on the machine. A few seconds a receipt came out and the driver provided it to the young man to sign and also his card back as well.
"There you go, hope you have a nice day," the cab driver stated.
The young man bowed and thanked the guy as he got out of the vehicle and retrieved his bag from the back. The vehicle pulled away and the young man was left staring at a tall condo building.
He adjusted the bag that was on his shoulder as he walked forward towards the building. He pulled out his phone, swiping it on again to look at the information that his sister had provided for him.
He walked up to the building and open the front door that he provided with the code from his sister. He headed towards the elevator and pushed the up button to call the elevator to take him to the floor to his sister's placed.
Finally, the elevator arrived and he stepped inside, pressing the number to the floor. He stepped off, walking the long hallway until he finally arrived at the right door for his sister but the only problem was he didn't have a key or know the code for opening the door.
With the only option that he had, he started to bang on the door.
The sleeping person on the other end was woken up from her sleep. She twisted her head over to the clock that was on the wall, wondering who could be banging on her door since Nana should be out of town.
She got up from the couch, dragging her tired body to the door. Kay gasps out loud when noticed on the other end of the door, was a masked covered person
