8~STAND BY ME
Taemin and Erika arrived back at the apartment just in the nick of time to see Taemin's members heading downstairs, with a disgusted look on their faces. They grabbed Taemin as just in that moment their manager appeared to take them to an already scheduled event. Erika stood dumbfounded as the scene unfolded in front of her.
She wrapped her arms around her body as turned to leave and head inside.
Taemin who was inside the van just looked as he saw Erika leave from where she stood. "Did you all have to do that?" He asked them.
Onew let out a deep sigh, " Taemin we had to tell the CEO what's been going on and he's not happy that you're going out by yourself without any managers. Plus you're staying out with that girl and it's making your image look bad. So at this time, you have been banned from seeing her until things are settled."
Taemin just stared at his hyungs and also at their manager. "I don't understand why everyone is making such a big deal out of this. I've only stayed out once and that was it and the only reason was because I was sick. No news was brought out in regards to it, so this doesn't make any sense. I shouldn't be told who I can and can't hang out with."
From that Taemin turned his head away to look out the window. He was done speaking to his hyungs and he wasn't going to stop hanging out with Erika.

It was later on that day when SHINee arrived back to the apartment and headed up to their place. Taemin was the last to followed behind everyone, he was given a lecture by the CEO about his antics and if he doesn't comply then he would be removed from the group. For him, the group was his life but Erika was his friend. Someone who he can talk to and enjoy being himself, now he's being told or more like being force to stop hanging out with her.
All of the members were all inside the apartment and Taemin stood between their place and Erika's. He complimented on what he should do as he stood in the hall. Just then a click sound coming from Erika's door made him make up his mind. She was coming out with a bag of trash. She had on an oversized sweater under a shirt that she was wearing. She was also wearing the same pair of glasses that she wore at her grandma's. She closed the door as she fixed her glasses. "Hey," she softly to Taemin.
"Hey," he said back. She walked over to the wall and leaned her body against it.
"I guess you spending the night got you in trouble, huh?"
Taemin walked over to her and leaned his body against the wall as well. "Yeah, but the situation will pass." Taemin tried to say in a happy mood.
But Erika shook her head meaning no. "Taemin I don't think so," she sighs. "I don't want to get you into any more trouble. Maybe we should no longer hang out."
Taemin got up from off of the wall and faced himself in front of Erika. "Don't say that Erika, I enjoy hanging out with you. You make me happy when you're by my side. Everything about you is an adventure. You were able to find the most amazing places. Do the most craziness things to make me happy when I'm feeling down. Our friendship is something I truly value a whole lot."
Taemin grabbed Erika and held her tight. So many emotions started to flood that the only thing that Erika could do was wrap her arms around Taemin. She clenched her hands on his shirt as tears fell down her cheeks. As Taemin held her, Minho stepped out from the apartment looking for Taemin and noticed the scene. He rushed the rush of the members out to show them what was going on.
Jonghyun folded his arms across his chest as he just scoffs at the scene. "No matter what we say or what is told, Taemin will do the complete opposite. I guess there's no other choice but just let them be." He turned back around to head inside. Saying those words, the rest felt the same as well. This just meant that Taemin was growing up and he was finding something truly important that he needed to protect.
The all looked at each other as what they thought was what everyone felt at things. They all decided to let the two be and leave the situation alone.
They just didn't know how much Taemin would do to protect someone that he cared so much for.
Taemin and Erika pulled away from each as they awkwardly laughed at the situation. "Come on, I'll go downstairs with you to take the trash," Taemin said, breaking the silence.
He held out his hand as Erika took it. He made a promise to Erika's grandmother that he would do his very best to protect Erika. And he was going to keep that promise no matter what. As her hand slipped into Taemin's hand he wrapped his tightly around her as they walked down the hall to the elevator.
Even when the elevator appeared he kept her hand in his. When they were in the elevator their hands sealed as one. Stepping out from the elevator to trash compactor they stay together. The only time Taemin let go was when he saw the door of Erika's apartment in front as he turned to go to his apartment.
