FORGIVE ME CH. 46 END
The battle was over and both sides lost many good men. Dropping his sword, Hanbin stepped forward, dragging his tired body through the friends that he lost because of him. As he continued to walk, everyone moved out of his way as he got closer to the person he wanted to see the most. Laying around the Guardians was Kira. She had blood coming from out of her mouth and a fatal wound to her abdomen. She was putting pressure on it but still, the blood poured out from it.
"You did good kid," N the leader said, holding onto her hand.
She nods giving him a small smile but was now coughing up blood.
Her eyes darted up to see Hanbin standing behind the Guardians. N let go of her hands and everyone steps away to give them their privacy. Hanbin drops to his knees grabbing Kira's hand. He holds it tightly as he tries to hold back tears that were filling up in his eyes. Kira using her other hand moves up to caress Hanbin's cheek only to smear blood on it.
She tries to laugh but the pain is just unbearable. "I know that you feel how I feel right now and understand that there's nothing you can do," Kira coughed. "But know that I am happy to have met you even though our meet wasn't that long."
Hanbin nods his head as he now has now choice but to cry. "Please know that you are capable of doing great things and must make a difference to those who will follow you."
As Kira tries to talk more to Hanbin, more blood she spat out. "We can do this together, Kira. I can heal you like I did before," Hanbin cried. He tightly held Kira's hands up to his cheeks as his tears continued to hit her hand.
Kira shook her head. "My end was today. There's nothing you can do. I'm sorry."
Kira hand that was getting weaker. The blood that remains was now on the ground. Her beautiful bronze skin was paler than it has ever been. Her arm that pressed on the wound on her abdomen was now on the grass as she smiles for the final time at Hanbin.
Bobby walked over pressing a hand on top of his brother's shoulder. Hanbin continued to shake his head denying that just happened. Ravi and Hongbin stepped in front of Hanbin lifting up Kira's lifeless body. Hanbin who still had her hand wouldn't let go. It had to take Bobby and Suho to remove his hand as Ravi and Hongbin took the body.
Both sides stared at Kira's body. For the battle to end, father and daughter had to kill each other. Even though the body of their leader was decapitated, their mourn wasn't drawn to him but to Kira's. The leader of the Snake Clan walked over to the guardians dropping his weapon to the ground. He placed his hand on top of Kira, "she was the best fighter that I've ever fought and it's an honor to have fought against her."
The rest nodded their head, Taeyang step over to Kira's body. He was wearing a necklace on his neck. He moved his hands up to his neck and took off the necklace. His leader turned to him in shock as he did. "Taeyang, you amaze me more and more," he said. Ignoring his leader, Taeyang placed the necklace on top of Kira, before kissing her wrist. He looked at her but never said anything before walking away. More and more clans came forth to Kira paying their respects to the fallen warrior.
Finally, Suho, Chanwoo, and Bobby stood in front of Kira. No words could express how they felt. Just then a portal appeared in front of them. Hanbin who was still kneeling on the ground looked up to see the first three walk through the portal.
"No, you can't take her," he yelled.
Ravi and Hongbin stopped in their tracks to slowly turn around. "I want to take her and bury her, please let me," Hanbin begged.
N who had already stepped through the portal stepped back and stood in front of Hanbin. His glazed was strong as he looked into the eyes of Hanbin. "You must understand, her body is not to be left in this world due to those who will come after it. What flows inside of her is richer than your blood. I'm sorry but we have to take her."
Dropping his head and nodding it up and down, Hanbin understood. "But you, Hanbin, are more powerful than what you think. They will follow you and listen to what you say." N smirked before turning back around and heading back through the portal.
Hongbin and Ravi followed as well taking Kira's body through it too. Just as they appeared they disappeared leaving behind burnt grass in their present. Bobby stepped over to his brother wiping away tears that had fallen from his eyes. "You know, she wasn't so bad after all."
Hanbin chuckled at his brother before turning around to see the eyes of all of the clans staring back at him. Suho stepped forward and so did Chanwoo. "You know what you need to do," Suho said.
Chanwoo handed him Kira's sword that she had used during the battle. The blood of her father was still on it. He clenched the sword adding his blood with it as it slowly sizzled before disappearing altogether. He looked up at the people that stood in front of him. He remembered the story that Kira had told him about her mother wanted peace with all of the clans. He lifted his head up high as he stabbed the sword into the ground.
"I, Kim Hanbin, the last member of the White Dragon Clan, from this day forward I will keep my promise that Kira's mother once had. She wanted peace with all of the clans and she died not seeing that day and neither did Kira but I will make sure that their promise is kept."
Suho and Chanwoo turned to face each other. They were proud of Hanbin and was happy that he would keep the Kira and her mother's promise.
